Child Passenger Safety
This Saturday, September 26, 2020 is National Seat Check Saturday. Child passenger safety technicians across the state will gather at car seat fit events to promote and bring awareness to child passenger safety by educating and providing guidance to caregivers free of charge.
Proper usage of child safety seats is critical to the protection of our smallest passengers. Studies show that when properly used, child safety seats reduce fatal injury by 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers. The problem, is that nearly HALF of all child safety seats are installed incorrectly. This is why child safety seat inspections are offered FREE in Louisiana, at fit stations across the New Orleans metro area, including Fradella’s Collision Center at our auto body shop in Metairie.
